When our clients in Huntsville, AL, reached out to us, they were looking for a way to get the most out of their backyard. So, we went out to their property to meet with them and listen to their goals. During this meeting, we gained a good understanding of what they were looking to accomplish and then worked with them to find a way to transform their backyard into a beautiful oasis that would allow them to get the most out of their outdoor living space. We decided that we would install a patio that would provide them with a great place to gather with friends and family, and then would border it with a retaining wall, outdoor kitchen, and fire pit, giving them everything they need to enjoy their backyard space.

The first step of this project was to install a large patio in the backyard.

Our clients had a small patio in the backyard, but it was covered and there wasn't much room for entertaining guests. So, they wanted another patio that would give them a better space to spend time with friends and family while enjoying their outdoor living space. We prepped the area where the new patio would go and then followed a thorough installation process to ensure their new patio was installed correctly so that it looked fantastic.

The next step of this backyard renovation project was the installation of their outdoor kitchen. We installed it along the border of their patio so that it was conveniently located. This outdoor kitchen is equipped with plenty of counter space and also has a grill. What's more, we used a real rock veneer for the outdoor kitchen, giving it a beautiful, unique look that added to the overall aesthetic of the property.

Next, we installed a retaining wall around the perimeter of the patio.

After installing their patio and outdoor kitchen, it was time to get to work on the retaining wall. We installed the retaining wall around the perimeter of the patio, and it was designed to hold soil in place while also giving the outdoor entertainment space a defined border. We covered the retaining wall in a real-rock veneer so that it blended in perfectly with the other features that we installed. What's more, this retaining wall also doubled as a seating wall, providing plenty of space for people to sit.

The last step of this backyard renovation project was to install a fire pit on their patio.

Our clients wanted to be able to enjoy their backyard all year long, even when the temperatures dip during the winter. So, they decided to have us install a fire pit on their patio as part of their backyard renovation project. We installed the fire pit right next to their outdoor kitchen and then used the same real-rock veneer as we did with the outdoor kitchen and retaining wall to give it a seamless look.
